Before removing the spring, fix the BMW N42 and N46 Spring Removal and Installation Pliers on the position plate and loosen the bolt.
Open the BMW N42 and N46 Spring Removal and Installation Pliers carefully, unload the spring and take it off.
Close the BMW N42 and N46 Spring Removal and Installation Pliers to tighten the spring while installing it.
Match the bolt to hole, and lock.
Includes DM11-A1292 Balance Shaft locking tool.
